I had a great time talking with Benjamin Heisenberg when he was in San Francisco accompanying his film Der Raüber (The Robber, 2010) for the 16th edition of the Goethe Institut's Berlin & Beyond Film Festival. One of the most propulsive films I'd seen that festival year, I was pleased to hear that The Robber had been picked up for distribution by Kino-Lorber and that—because of their ongoing relationship with Fandor—the film is now available for streaming.On the occasion of this title joining Fandor's expanding inventory, I'm honored that my interview with Heisenberg has been republished on Keyframe under the title "The Uncertainty Principle".
